Software Developer

As a Software Developer at HCM, you’ll be part of the team that powers our digital transformation. You’ll design, build, and maintain scalable applications that help organizations manage their people better—from recruitment to retirement.

Reporting & Team Structure

This role reports to the IT director. At HCM, we invest in our tech talent. You’ll have access to mentorship, certifications, and opportunities to lead projects that stretch your skills and expand your impact.

Tool We Use:

We work with modern stacks and agile workflows. Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Frontend: React, Vue.js, TypeScript

• Backend: Node.js, Python, .NET Core

• DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions

• Cloud: Azure, AWS

• Collaboration: Jira, Slack, Microsoft 365

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web and mobile applications that are secure, scalable, and user-friendly

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging

• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy

• Support deployment and release processes across environments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in software development (entry-level roles also available)

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (JavaScript, Python, C#, etc.)

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, databases, and version control systems

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Passion for building technology that makes a difference
