HCM Partners with Gates Foundation to Strengthen Primary Healthcare in Gombe State

Human Capital Managers (HCM) today announced a strategic Gombe health partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Together, we are launching the Tracking Health Worker Productivity (THWP) project to tackle core challenges in Gombe State’s primary healthcare system.

This collaboration builds directly on the success of HCM’s state-wide biometric attendance program. Because that program significantly improved accountability in the public sector, it created a foundation of trust and efficiency that attracted this new investment.

A Shared Vision for Health

“We are combining HCM’s local expertise in HR technology with the Gates Foundation’s global health commitment,” said Dr. Ismail Jibrin, CEO of HCM. “This partnership is a major milestone. We are confident the THWP project will enhance primary healthcare in Gombe and create a model for the entire region.”

How the Project Works

The project will use HCM’s customized software solution, CureRite. This platform will collect data on health workers and the services they provide at each facility. Subsequently, the system will analyze this data to identify patterns in workload and service volume, giving managers a clear picture of productivity.

Key Benefits of the Partnership

  • Deeper Workforce Insights: The project goes beyond simple attendance to monitor actual productivity levels.

  • Smarter Resource Allocation: Data will help ensure the right health workers are in the areas where they are most needed.

  • Better Health Outcomes: By focusing on both attendance and effective work, the project aims to directly improve healthcare quality for the people of Gombe.

HCM is firmly committed to the successful implementation of the THWP project. Ultimately, we believe it will create lasting, positive change for Gombe State’s healthcare system. We look forward to sharing progress updates on this critical initiative.
