Human Capital Managers Partners with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to Strengthen Primary Healthcare in Gombe State
We are excited to announce a strategic partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) to launch the Tracking Health Worker Productivity (THWP) project in Gombe State. This initiative is designed to address key challenges in Human Resources for Health (HRH) by leveraging biometric attendance systems and real-time productivity tracking.
The partnership is a result of the successful implementation of the state biometric attendance program managed by our company. This program recorded significant achievement in the state public sector, paving the way for additional developmental projects and grants, contributing to improved healthcare services and economic growth. This collaboration builds upon HCM’s successful implementation of the state-wide biometric attendance program within the Gombe public sector. The program’s proven track record of improving accountability and operational efficiency has paved the way for this significant initiative, attracting further developmental opportunities and grants aimed at strengthening the healthcare system and fostering economic growth within the state.
Our collaboration with BMGF represents a shared commitment to improving global health outcomes through the application of innovative, data-driven solutions. The THWP will empower healthcare administrators in Gombe State with actionable, real-time insights into health worker productivity. This data will be instrumental in optimizing resource allocation, strategically managing the healthcare workforce, and ultimately improving the provision of essential services to underserved populations across the state.
Strategic Objectives of this Partnership
- Enhancing Healthcare Delivery through Data Integration
- Strategic Alliance for Improved Healthcare Access and Quality
- Building a Foundation for Sustainable Impact in Healthcare Infrastructure and Workforce Management
This partnership represents a significant milestone in our mission to optimize workforce management through technology, Dr Ismail Jibrin, CEO of Human Capital Managers. “By combining HCM’s expertise in human resource technology and our deep understanding of the local context with the Gates Foundation’s global commitment to health, we are confident in the transformative potential of the THWP project to significantly enhance primary healthcare delivery in Gombe State and establish a replicable model for sustainable development within the region.”
The project will be implemented using a customized software solution ‘CureRite’ which will be utilized for data collection on HRH, services provided by each facility and by each health worker which will be analyzed to identify patterns of services, workload, and volume per health worker.
Key Benefits of the THWP Partnership
- Comprehensive Workforce Performance Insights: Moving beyond basic attendance tracking, the THWP project will provide a holistic view of workforce performance by monitoring and analyzing actual productivity levels.
- Data-Driven Resource Optimization: The actionable insights generated by the THWP project will enable more strategic and efficient allocation of healthcare resources, ensuring that the right personnel are deployed to the areas where they are most needed.
- Tangible Improvements in Healthcare Outcomes: By focusing on both consistent attendance and effective productivity, this project is directly aimed at enhancing the quality and accessibility of primary healthcare services, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes for the people of Gombe State.
